Gunman was 'cool and calm' during Orlando nightclub standoff, police chief says

The gunman who killed 49 people in an Orlando, Fla., nightclub was "cool and calm" during talks with police at the start of his bloody rampage, the hostage situation that followed and the police raid that ended the shootings early Sunday morning, according to the city's police chief.
