School guard pleads not guilty to sex assault of student
ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) — A school security guard accused of sexually assaulting a student has pleaded not guilty.
Luis Manco entered his plea Monday during a court hearing in Elizabeth. The 43-year-old Watchung man was arrested last week on sexual assault and child endangerment charges.
Union County authorities say Manco touched the victim inappropriately at Elizabeth's iPrep Academy School throughout this school year. He was suspended from his job without pay following his arrest.
Manco remained jailed Monday on $100,000 bail.
