According to the UK Mirror, Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has also been offered a £100 million deal to leave Manchester United and move to China.

Shanghai Shenhua reportedly offered £27million to the striker for a three-year deal worth £500,000-a-week. Rooney still has two years left on his current deal at Old Trafford but the Chinese side are willing to spend big to make him the face of the Super League.
Recall that Jackson Martinez, Ramires, Alex Teixeira, Nikica Jelavic, Gervinho, Paulinho, Gael Kakuta and Asamoah Gyan have all joined Chinese sides.

Meanwhile, Turkish newspaper Sabah has revealed that former Manchester United players Nani and Robin van Persie who currently play for Fenerbahce are being targeted by Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua. The source reports that the players are weighing up big-money offers from the Chinese side and could be set to leave Turkey and join the likes of Demba Ba and Fredy Guarin in Shanghai.
