That's exactly how I felt when I tried frozémonade for the first time.
My first frozémonade experience was a chance encounter in the middle of a lobster roll crawl. One minute I'm talking about the difference between Maine and Connecticut-style lobster rolls and explaining why pimenton is different from regular paprika; the next minute I'm being presented with a mason jar filled with what looks like a slurpee and is actually rosé. There was also a fancy metal straw. This was maybe the most Brooklyn moment of my life.
Frozémonade is rosé and lemonade blended together into a wine slushie. It is literally everything you could want in a summer drink.
Frozémonade is sweet, a little sour, and not too strong, aka perfect for outdoor (day) drinking. This version was created by Robert Kruger, a bartender at Extra Fancy in Williamsburg. He tells BuzzFeed the drink has gotten so popular that they sell hundreds of them on any given weekend night. While they're made-to-order at the inside bar, they're served on tap from a huge frozen drink machine at the bar in Extra Fancy's backyard.
