A Clinton in the political headlines, aliens invading Earth in an Independence movie… 2016 and 1996 have a lot in common. Of course, in 2016, it’s Hillary Clinton running for president and the sequel Independence Day: Resurgence is in theaters. Back in 1996, though, Bill Clinton was the Commander in Chief and Will Smith was battling the aliens in the original movie. In this throwback Saturday Night Live clip, Bill (Darrell Hammond) reviews the film.
