Transfer window watch: The strikers top London clubs are chasing this summer

The transfer window is set to fling its doors open across Europe at the start of July, and the stage is set for what could be the biggest spending summer football has seen.

Whilst the Chinese game has already shown off its financial muscle it is the Premier League, and London in particular, that seems set to be at the heart of the summer market.

All of the capital’s top sides have one position at the top of their wishlist as they look to conclude business before August 31 but, as Arsene Wenger has consistently warned over the past years, a top striker can be hard to come by.

A host of names are already on the radar of top clubs, with the futures of Michy Batshuayi, Alexandre Lacazette, Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku all making headlines months before the window has opened. And their prices have skyrocketed.

Batshuayi seems set to join Chelsea for £33.1million, a relative bargain for the Blues in comparison to another names. Want to sign Morata from Real Madrid? That’ll be £57m. Lukaku? £65m.
