Editor’s note: Some Nigerians are beginning to regret voting for the ruling All Progressives Congress which promised ‘change’.
Some are questioning how much will it cost Nigeria to install stable source of electricity and others have asked the government to stop sleeping and wake up to its responsibilities.
One of the NAIJ.com readers writes open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari complaining about lack of electricity in his region.
Dear Mr. President,
I write with a bitter heart during Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime I hated the fact that there was barely light and homes were demolished with little or no compensation.
Then Umaru Yara’dua came into power, things began to change a bit, National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) began to try at least, I could bank on three hours light a day.

Finally Goodluck Jonathan brought us luck we had light, crisis went to sleep till the All Progressives Congress (APC) started making waves and slowly Boko Haram became daily headlines.
People blamed GEJ for even family quarrels (even APC).
The slogan of change started and people wanted change but failed to ask if it would be negative or positive and now we weep.
Gari, rice, beans, pure water, light tariffs and not to forget fuel and also the increase in the deaths of Christians.
A leader should have empathy for his people.
