10 Male UNILAG graduates who rule the Nigerian entertainment industry (photos)

The University of Lagos is not done with producing the best set of script interpreters who are making Nigeria proud.

Like the actresses, some of these actors were groomed in the Theatre 15. Another interesting fact about them all is that most of them studied courses quite different from theatre arts or anything close to it yet they are excelling in the entertainment industry.

1. Kenneth Okonkwo

The first movie he featured in,  Living In Bondage, has being used as a yardstick in measuring the existence of Nollywood. Okonkwo studied International Law and Diplomacy

2. Kanayo O. Kanayo

He studied Philosophy.

 3. Richard Mofe-Damijo

Nollywood darling, well missed when he took up political appointment. Thank God he is back to claim his place in Nollywod. RMD as he is fondly called studied Law.

4. Femi Brainard

Brainard has been able to shuttle between Yoruba movies and  English movies and TV series. He studied Theatre Arts.

5. MayorKun

This Davido Music Wordwide artist and Iya Mi Eleko singer studied Banking and Finance.

6. Segun Adefila 

Adefila is the founder/art director of Crown Troupe of Africa, one of Nigeria’s foremost theatre troupes. He studied Theatre Arts.

7. Teju Babyface

Teju Oyelakin popularly known as Teju Babyface studied Insurance which he dropped for comedy and acting.

8. Koffi

The standup comedian cum actor studied Chemistry.

9. Desmond Elliot

The Nollywood actor, movie director turned politican studied Economics

10. Ycee

The Jagaban singer though still in school. He is studying Marine Biology.
