Everybody and their Facebook-friended mother are compiling midyear top-10 albums lists nowadays. We’ve been running one on the Minnesota music scene since the members of Cactus Blossoms and Kitten Forever were still into Blink-182, and we’re not stopping now — especially not when both of those bands put out the kinds of albums they did this year. They were a shoo-in for this (alphabetical) tally, which also includes albums by some local mainstays, newcomers and reinventions.
