Nigerian engineer disgraced and humiliated?! Trump’s policies in action
It seems President Donald Trump’s tough immigration stance is beginning to affect Nigerians as a Nigerian man, Celestine Omin has revealed that he was subjected to a test before entering the US.
The software engineer shared on his twitter page that border officials at the JFK airport gave him a written test to prove his credentials before being allowed into the country.

The 28 year-old who works at Andela which is a start-up company that received recognition when the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg visited it in 2016 was stopped at the airport and was surprisingly given series of questions in order to prove his credentials which has been seen as a testament of the anti-immigration stance of the new administration.
He said: I was just asked to balance a Binary Search Tree by JFK's airport immigration. Welcome to America.
For someone who has not slept in more than 24-hours, the said the question seemed vague pointing to the fact that the person asking the question probably googled it.
In an interview with Linked-in, he said: “Every single time I asked [the official] why he was asking me these questions, he hushed me… I wasn’t prepared for this. If I had known this was happening beforehand, I would have tried to prepare."
“That is when I thought I would never get into the United States.”
He was finally allowed in without any explanation provided.
“He said, ‘Look, I am going to let you go, but you don’t look convincing to me,’” Omin said. “I didn’t say anything back. I just walked out.”
He said they later called Andela to confirm his story
His tweet generated reactions from people who expressed shock at the line of questioning.
