Esmeralda is a fiery Gryffindor through and through; she’s bold, daring, and never fails to express her thoughts and opinions. She stands up to injustice, even at great risk to her personal safety and freedom, and actively fights against the systematic oppression of her people.

Simba (The Lion King)

Is it weird to have a lion in Gryffindor? Or would it be weirder to put him somewhere else? Regardless, Simba proves himself worthy of this house when he returns home to face his fears and his uncle, a feat made nobler when you remember that Simba still believed himself responsible for Mufasa’s death when he decided to go back.

Aladdin (Aladdin)

Aladdin displays many classic Gryffindor characteristics, including a notable disregard for rules. He’s got a good heart, though, and demonstrates chivalry not only towards Jasmine, but also the hungry kids he gives his bread to. He’d probably make an awesome seeker.

Merida (Brave)

I mean, her movie is literally called Brave. And Merida is brave; unfortunately, she’s also extremely short-sighted, and while her attempts to change her mother aren’t exactly noble, she makes up for it in the end.
