Donald Trump's lawyers and political action committee sought the help of Sean Crowley, a private investigator in New York, as legal troubles for the former president began mounting in Manhattan this spring. Search for Maui fire victims gets help from highly trained dogs

Additional dogs trained to work in difficult conditions were dispatched to Maui to help first responders in the search for wildfire victims on the Hawaiian island. William Palmer, the program manager for Washington Task Force 1, which dispatched the service dogs to Hawaii, spoke about how the canines are helping with recovery efforts.

Maui emergency chief resigns amid outrage over wildfire response

Herman Andaya, the head of the Maui Emergency Management Agency, resigned Thursday a day after he defended his decision not to activate the warning sirens as wildfires burned down portions of the island.
