As the Knicks enter their third month negotiating with the Jazz on a Donovan Mitchell package, they might want to consider making sure Cam Reddish is part of a September deal. The Post has learned Reddish wants a change of scenery from New York after he was traded there in January and didn’t initially crack the rotation to build confidence. An NBA source said Reddish is looking for a larger role.

The Golden State Warriors head coach Kerr spoke this week with Egyptian outlet FilGoal during a trip to Cairo, Egypt to coach campers at a Basketball Without Borders program. Kerr, who was born in Beirut, Lebanon, spent several years living in Cairo as a teenager but had not been back since 1985. The Knicks decided to extend Barrett amid trade talks with the Jazz over Donovan Mitchell. As SNY reported, Utah sought Barrett in any Mitchell return. Now that Barrett has agreed to an extension, including him in a Mitchell trade becomes very complicated. The Knicks and Jazz will almost certainly re-engage on Mitchell trade talks prior to training camp.
