Kyle Kuzma says he has also enjoyed playing and living in Washington, D.C. The geographic location is a big positive for him. Kuzma loves how he can fairly quickly fly home to see family in Michigan, to Miami where he has a house or even to Europe or the Caribbean for vacation. “It’s central and it’s low-key and chill. I love where I live. People are not really bothering me too much. It’s an easy pace of life out here, it’s nice,” he said.

When asked whether he wants to stay in Boston long term, Brown is noncommittal. “I don’t know. As long as I’m needed. It’s not up to me,” he says. “We’ll see how they feel about me over time and I feel about them over time. Hopefully, whatever it is, it makes sense. But I will stay where I’m wanted. Puzzled, Brown placed a three-way call to Stevens and Tatum. During that discussion, Stevens says he assured Brown that the guard wasn’t going anywhere. “You just have to have a direct conversation,” Stevens tells me of the meeting. “And you just have to be able to say, ‘This is what’s real. This is where we are. Obviously, you and Jayson are the two guys that we’ve built the whole roster around. Parsons has slapped LeBron with a Kevin Durant-sized truth bomb about striking fear in their opponents’ hearts. According to Parsons, he feared KD more than he did the Los Angeles Lakers superstar: “There’s harder matchups one-on-one,” Parsons said. “When I was playing I feared guarding Kevin Durant more than I feared guarding LeBron James just because of his ability to score in iso, the way he can break you off. The way you can play great defense, he can shoot over you. LeBron is more passive.”

LA Clippers All-Star guard Paul George left Tuesday night’s 101-100 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder late in the fourth quarter after suffering an apparent right leg injury. George left Crypto.com Arena on a cart with his right leg extended. The Clippers did not offer an update on George, who nodded as he was carted toward the arena’s loading dock.
