Imagine where you work going bust, you being made redundant yet still having a mortgage to pay and kids to clothe and feed.

As much as League fans scoff at Union - lets not forget that at the end of the days its sport and there are staff and players who have very uncertain futures.

Hull FC - blackandwhites.co.uk • Recruitment 2020

Not sure if everyone heard on Humberside yesterday but Radford said although he hasn't signed a contract for next year yet he will still be coaching us. Said he & AP would rather sort out the players contracts 1st & then deal with Lee.

What happens if the top 3 run away with it and 4th place are 6/8 points adrift?

Last season Castleford finished 5th and were only 2 points off 3rd.

Do you suggest we see how the season is going and then just decide in September what the playoff system will be?

What about when 1st place runs away with it like the last 2 seasons? Do we just give them the title and scrap the playoffs completely?

Simple question to you, how do you know the money isn't right and not other issues?, unless you know for sure what sort of money is involved, and if so perhaps you'd like to share your imfo with everybody save us all getting the wrong idea.

To be honest it's a presumption on the back of MC's comments from last year. On the back of those comments we know Rocky wanted a longer contract and more money, he then signed a one year deal so I guess there... Читать дальше...

The Virtual Terrace • Play offs

Had a look at the format last night, have I got this right for the playoffs, in the playoffs were now, this would hypothetically happen?

Game A

Catalans v's Cas

Game B

Warrington v's Hull

Semi's

Saints v's Warrington

Hull v's Catalans.

Is this correct I took it from here https://www.rugby-league.com/2019_structure

As to be it looks like it would be better for Hull to lose the first game to get an easier game in the semi and home advantage, that can't be right can it? Читать дальше...

Ask Dreadnought/WakeyTrin/RThick. I’m sure he’ll recommend the latest sensation from Eastmoor Dragons.

Bradford Bulls - RedAmberandBlack.net • Re: Ethan Ryan

Without doubt. All these idiots only watching him once or twice in a novice position in the pro game are talking bollox. He is better than anything KR have at the moment on finishing ability. He has obviously chosen game time over club. Which again is testimony to the character he is he only wants to play.

Again the reserves game looks like we have two very good young stein and lightning wingers waiting for a chance. Jy was a full back when he first came over. He could play there. Although... Читать дальше...

Love Sneyd - fantastic player, so what if he doesnt take the line on much, everything else he offers is superb

If he did take on the line Seb and engage two or three defenders more often it would make it so much easier to spread the ball wide and create the overlap for a try.
Add that to his play and we would be scoring a lot more walk in tries for our centres and wings

Wakefield Trinity • 4 props required.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

There has been plenty of posts about another prop required, yes that is right, however, because of injuries & or knocks + strained etc, then imo i think it's a must to have 4 good props, even if you have to rest - rotate props for different games in order to maximize the teams play every game. The problem for us is funding.
Which 4 next season after Fifita & koppy can you think of bearing in mind maintaining size & good mobility ?

Wakefield Trinity • Newmarket Planning Meeting

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

It was never going to be a meeting to equate the application, their behaviour demonstrated what the outcome would be, & it was, as will all future applications now till completion of works to all the Newmarket land as the two parties want, ie, yorkcourt & the council. Nothing can stop them now !!!!!

Sorry only just seen this.

From memory, Johnson was the most impressive of the Leeds youngsters (created one really good try), though I don't think Trout was on for that long. It's a big ask for a young half like McLelland to come into a good-quality Championship game such as Widnes v Fev and stand out, he went ok without really shining.

Wellington Albert played very well, though his size and offloading ability are always going to make him a handful against Championship opposition. Читать дальше...
