He's done it all season and got a away with it- he's basically balancing the ball with his finger tips one handed and lobbing it up to the player (who then has to alter his run as its usually a shocking ball to catch) It went to no one, Leigh got a scrum and scored straight away down is wing. It's driven me insane and I do point the Kear for nipping it in the bud as Grants done it a few times this year.

Chester needs to go he's clueless. Selections and tactics a shambles. If he can't see what's going on hes not a coach. Picks kirmond then will whinge he's down on subs. Throw it to fifita and hope for best. Genius. Excuses over chop him now.

We often sit on signing announcements to release them as a good news story when we lose. Obviously we've won our last 3 so not had that requirement recently.

Doncaster RLFC • Review Of Games 16th June 2019

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Review after the weekend games 16th June 2019:

After the Dons 22-20 win at Hunslet on Friday night, London beat W Wales 51-6 on Saturday.

In the Sunday games, Newcastle recorded an excellent win over table-toppers Whitehaven by 26-20. This was only the second defeat of the season for Whitehaven. Newcastle leapfrog the Dons in the table.

Oldham got back to winning ways beating Keighley 28-4 and go above Hunslet.

Workington beat Coventry 54-16 to draw level with the Dons... Читать дальше...

Just keeps getting better and better.
Well done to the lad. Had a really good game with ball in hand and with the boot.

Wakefield Trinity • Basics

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Yeah, we've all heard the excuse that we've got lots of injuries. I'm sure it plays a part in it. But the simple fact is that the players who we are putting out can't even manage the basics that you'd expect from a junior team. They look disinterested and disjointed. There's no communication. Massive failings happening somewhere

Leigh Centurions • Ben Thaler

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

2 huge mistakes so far.
1. Knock on by Leigh in first minute as we attack was clearly not touched by a Leigh player.
2. Matt Costello manages to not be tackled in goal and Bradfords 24 clearly punches the ball put of his carry arm after the tackle is made by 3 players. Clear penalty to Leigh. Thaler gives a knock on.

Has also missed a crystal clear obstruction with Bradford on attack and some howling offsides.

Otherwise, so far so good.
Unfortunately we are helping him with our aweful discipline. Читать дальше...

The Wakefield game ,where they came back admirably in the 2nd half, should have been a wake up call to our team & coaching staff but we are seeing a lack of being able to put games to bed recently & other teams know that.

How many 'doctors, trainers, physios, water carriers are allowed on the field when the ball is in play?

I am getting increasingly frustrated by our side over the large number of non playing staff on the field, and the amount of time they spend on it after they have performed their specific duty.
I got hacked off with Wigan doing this last year.
I think we've taken it to at least that level. Читать дальше...

Got what we deserved I'm afraid.
KR wanted it more.
Very few of the team came out with much credit although the 2 tries we scored were quality.
Goodwin was once again a class act.
I thought Cooper played well and Davis and Clark too.

Once Hill starts whinging at the ref I knew we were in trouble and are likely to lose. I wish he'd cut that out. (That's why I prefer Hughes as captain.)

And did we actually use Livett?
I dont understand why - has he drowned SPs cat or something? Читать дальше...

After this weekends result Leeds are in real danger of being relegated.
Even though they started the season badly, it was fair to assume that they would eventually click and work their way up the table.
London are playing well as a team, they seem well organised and will pick up more points.
Hull KR will get a bounce with a new coach in charge and Tony Smith has a good record as a coach.
I could understand Leeds getting rid of Furner but since Agar was already there, he was also part of the problem. Читать дальше...

The post below is from the Leeds board. Think it's a bit harsh tbh. I agree that we're not close to the cc winning sides but we're better than garbage.

The fact of the matter is you have 2 teams who are way in front of the rest then all the rest can beat each other on any given day but i don't say that in a good way i mean all 10 of those teams can stink the house out for a lot of the season so it does not take a great deal to beat them if you are anything like on the day.

Hull FC will... Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • An Unpalatable Thought

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

This morning, whilst preparing my early morning Ceylon and ruminating on yesterdays game, an unpleasant thought struck me.

Are we actually that good?

On Friday I watched one of the worst Wigan teams I can recall stumble to victory and move within 2 points of the top five. Hull, a team who have taken some fearful beatings this year, are firmly ensconced in the top 4. Catalan have swung from good to abymsal but look nailed on for the top 5. None of the supporters of these teams would claim to be having a good season... Читать дальше...
