Because Jonny is not a regular normal name. It is the familiar form of John, which is a regular normal name.

Then we have the "Teenfest" - needing 3000 ticket sales to break even and never made 500. Abandoned and at a cost to promoters and "publicity" - not that we saw any.
I wonder who's big idea that was then!

Maybe check your sources next time eh? Teenfest was independent of the club, Bradford Council rejected the safety document provided by the company which was nothing to do with the Bulls. Читать дальше...

Matt Adamson in CC semi final. Played the final against Bradford a couple of weeks after and if I remember correctly went off injured after possibly being targeted.
Think Sinfield may have had broken nose against Warrington when they were still really dirty and not very good. Seem to remember he refused to shake hands.
Also Hugh Wadell against Widnes in the game I think Powell may have swallowed his tongue in.

Wakefield Trinity • Syndesmosis.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

This is an horrendous injury, to the ankle joint where the tibula & fibula join the ankle joint with soft tissue & ligaments. Did anyone see the Catalan v Warrington game where Blake Austin went down in a tackle run for the line & he was down, held & a player came in late from behind causing maximum hurt ! - - off went Blake & now has this terrible injury, you could say it's a game hazard, but late deliberate tackles where a player cannot defend himself is not a game hazard !

Wigan Warriors - wiganrugbyfans.com • Morgan Smithies

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Let’s not forget Smithies hasn’t even had a preseason in the first team. He’ll kick on and mature and he certainly made many a break, pass etc in the U19s. He may be under instruction to play the way he is, we don’t know?
One thing is for sure, he’s a very exciting prospect and one who is very clearly right at home at first team level.

Great news because the event is dying, Catalan got a lot of stick last year for a low crowd but this years sales don't look a lot better despite featuring two of the leagues best supported sides and Widnes and Sheffield boosting the numbers, still many tickets left in the bottom two tiers.

They need to attract neutrals again, playing away from a Bank Holiday will at least help with the transport issues, people can at least get a train to London on a July weekend.

Ben Currie anytime tryscorer 4/1 betfred, also DG anytime in 80 mins 5/2.

Come on RD, whats your money on, or are you waiting for the game to finish so you can claim to have bet the Lance Todd Winner, first try scorer and last try scorer, all in a treble?

Just seen stats to show is 5th in top metre gainers.
In a team that is not going well and in particular not making yards, that is an outstanding effort.

I wonder what would have happened if the RFL had said no to Hood asking for a loan in 2011? We would likely have gone into administration then. And the administrator would be trying to find a buyer for a club with about £1m in debt but with an SL franchise and an asset valued at £1.5m in 2012. We might have got a much better quality of buyer, we might have got one of those "vultures" that the RFL were worried about. But we would have been a much more attractive option then than we were 10months later. Читать дальше...

Hopefully Wakefield 'we are now an established top five club' Trinity will lose their remaining games and take the dreaded drop. They should've been relegated years ago when licencing was brought in. How they got one with that shambles of a 'ground' is anyones guess.

Wasn't it the last minute collapse of the crusaders that ultimately saved their bacon. Not that I'm looking to engage in Trinity bashing I hasten to add!

I think we’ll give them a game for around 50/60 minutes, but the big pitch and lack of fitness/morale/structure/form will take its toll and they’ll open up an embarrassing lead in the last quarter. ‘Plucky’ wolves not outmatched in desire, yada yada yada.

Remember we threw EVERYTHING at them in June and couldn’t get it done. Expecting more of the same but from a battered and bruised, patched up side.

Ludicrous post.

For a start we have no problem losing to London under any circumstance, they have easily outclassed us twice this season so we don't need to lose on purpose. Secondly, do you really think we care who gets relegated so long as it's not us!
