Was thinking how many of these need to happen to give us a chance

Wakefield Trinity • Easy game really

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

They say RL is a simple game made difficult and I think Sunday showed that.

There were three tries that showed this perfectly and it was the difference between success and failure in my eyes.

First try - BJB off Lyne. Lyne takes the ball, runs it in with good leg speed, spins in the tackle breaks free, draws the defender, simple pass to the winger who goes in easily to score a wonderfully put together try. No bouncing about, no running aimlessly into the middle, no risky kick throughs... Читать дальше...

Just noticed this has been put back onto trinity twitter page 2 hours ago. Is the consultation continuing for another 2 weeks?

The Virtual Terrace • Club Wembley Three Lions bar

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Going to the Final on Saturday and have access to the Three Lions bar/lounge, does anyone know if they allow entry if wearing replica/playing shirts? I know their website has a no club shirt notice but I'm hoping that's aimed at football games rather than the Challenge Cup Final. I've tried to get an answer from the RFL but nothing so far.

Looking to hear from anyone with personal experience from the last few cup finals.

...in 2020 is to be held in July.

So we will probably see a huge reduction in the gap btw. the quarters and Semi final.

Leeds Rhinos - southstander.com • Re: SL RD 26 | St Helens (H)

This current Saints side can only really be judged if they win something (not the LLS) IMO, its all very well sailing through the year like was in 2017 but if it comes to nothing then they can't be classed as a great side.

Really hoping they dont change the Cas away game from the Sunday.
Get the Gianfs beaten at our spot then take a bumper away following to Casvegas with everything still on.
Them pesky Skyistas better not ruin our day/evening out.

The tone of your post seems to paint the RFL as the bad guys ?
Unless they have tried to add something to the "pot", all they did was bail Bradford out and now, Bradford are walking away from the lease ??
I understand that the costs may not be viable for Bradford to remain at Odsal but, these costs are nothing new, are they ?

The main gripes Bulls fans have with the RFL are mainly to do with the deduction of a full year's worth of central funding following our first admin. Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos - southstander.com • SL RD 26 | St Helens (H)

I think the point being made is that systems, tactics, fitness and nutrition improve over time, but the qualities of the players is dropping.

The best relative measure for me is Howe many of the top English players are playing in SL?

I'd say many of England's likely 17 play in the NRL, than in SL. Also factor in that the top southern hemisphere players stay in the NRL target than come to SL. That leads to a drop in quality

Of course they are favourites for this year. A team that includes John Lomax, Thomas Makinson, Kevin Naiqama, James Roby, Lucas Thompson, and French International Theodore Fages is hell bent for a decisive victory.

Hirst as put in some fine performances within one of the most physical packs in Super League.
I've seen him play when not on sky and believe me he is a honest player who gives 100% .
I don't get the mentality at times of some posters not just us on fax but Widnes,Leigh and more so Bulls, This is championship rugby we play and yes whilst we chase SL in the current economic climate the main aim is to stay afloat. So we need to get used to players who are willing to do a job and have the experience... Читать дальше...

So far Hull & Wigan have recruited better then us for next year. Saints will be keeping their squad together. So I can see using being cemented in 4th or 5th position (which is likely to be our position in a months time). Even though we will have Widdop, we are still lacking a strike centre & decent powerful prop to compete...

Some Widnes fans memory aren't so short as yours. They still remember when Widnes V neared the eleventh hour...it was the Good Doc and Simon Moran and the Warrington club...and most importantly the Widnes fans, that stepped in to help.

I think the dislike of Wane comes from a place of envy and jealousy with some. Wane's teams were better to watch than Warrington for the majority of this season, unless you like watching a turgid losing streak.

I don't dislike Wane...he's a guilty pleasure...however there's no getting away from the failure as a business from Wigan since the departure of Madge.
It may not be down to Wane...however Leneghan can't sack himself.
