I remember Alex Murphy being asked this question when he held the role and he gave a one word answer rhyming with rollocks.

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Championship props?

The point is surely that we need someone better than championship quality??

For next season? Sure. It can be a project. But not for now.

Ealing decide not to continue with their appeal. They'll not be a Premier RU team next season.

But they'll continue with development plans for their ground......which at present is probably twice the size that we need.

It's now 11 days, my guess is that Toulouse would be 12 days, so should be ok assuming he passes.

3 days to go and not a mention on any of the clubs social media outlets. Do they know we have a game this Thursday?

I thought they let rugby supporters park for free since they have had so much trade from players of other clubs, that have been spotted in/going into the store.

Huddersfield Giants • Wakey on Thursday

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Things just got even tougher with Tui and Hill banned for this game. cogger also out but expecting Fages back so likely he wouldn't have been playing anyway.
We are now without three first choice props in Hill, Seb and I'm presuming English still out. Not sure what's happening with trout - was it HIA or something else?
so golding to fullback with AOB on the bench or will he stay as exchange hooker and senior at fullback, putting leroy somewhere in the backline now that wardle is back either way its going to cut down our attack... Читать дальше...

Smithies is really impressing me this season. He’s quietly going about his business but his output in terms of the ground he’s making is getting better, his discipline has been much improved and he’s rock solid defensively and does all the dirty work really well. I saw him described as a Poundland Morgan Knowles on the Saints forum and they should know more than anyone that players like those two can’t be judged on stats alone. He’s not at Knowles current level but he’s... Читать дальше...

Why do they continue to spend mega bucks on wages they cant afford. What will their players wage bill be compared to ours ?

It’s nothing to do with can’t afford as a lot of NRL teams actually run at a decent profit, it’s the point of spending the money correctly.

What is the punishment (other than a 24 nil loss) if you elect to not play a game? Mind you, poor West Wales would be using that for every away game if it were possible.

Now we know that we have no further suspensions this week, and assuming we do sign Hardaker, I'd go with:

Hardaker
Tindall
Mellor
Broadbent
Handley
Sinfield
Leeming
Oledzki
Dwyer
Prior
Martin
Gannon
Smith

Donaldson
Thompson
O'Connor
Mustapha

Think it's time to give Max a rest, he needs to consolidate his learning. As soon as Austin or Sezer are available the same applies to young Sinfield.

London Broncos • Dewsbury, lets have a party

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

As you all know I am not a fan of the current team, or DH, or our manager, or the move to wimbledon...

However Sunday could very possibly be the one of the last home games for the club, I'm not the only one who does not think London will finish the season based on current traction...

Therefore lets all try and get to the Dewsbury game, even if it turns out to be one last Hurragh, I'll be in my old away top from the Brentford days, my dad is coming as well, it would be good to see some... Читать дальше...

Agreed. And again we brought Mago on around 32mins when we dropped our intensity (Smith try aside), giving him only a few minutes before the Salford pack could regain some energy at halftime.

Smithies - 15 carries, 93m, 27 tk
Havard - 15 carries, 97m, 30 tk
Mago - 4 carries, 36m, 13 tk
Byrne - 7 carries, 28m, 26 tk

Agreed. I mostly sit in North stand and don't mind the band as it adds a bit of noise when it's been quiet this year
