Massive over reaction going on here to something that hasnt even happened yet.
Some seem to think hes being offered 3 year deal. Wait for any announcement before going in to panic mode.
Clearly not the player he was when he left us but still can do a job in multiple positions. The position we are in right now I dont think we can be too choosey and neither can he

Agreed...sign him up for rest of season only though. Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls • Potential Head Coach Options

Lingard has overseen a Batley side that is gritty, full of endeavour, hard to beat and greater than the sum of its parts. The problem with that is that John Kear also oversaw a Batley side that was gritty, full of endeavour, hard to beat and greater than the sum of its parts.

Wakefield Trinity • Championship props?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Excluding Leigh and Fev, does anyone know of lower league props? I looked at York and saw Masi Matongo 6 foot 5 and 110 kg but not sure if he is a loanee. The chances of swap loan deals must be there. I seem to remember a Wire player joining us for salary cap purposes while injured. Maybe BT could go somewhere for a fee temporarily. Etc. Let’s be fair this shower of …. won’t change much at this rate.

The Virtual Terrace • Re: HELP - Travel to France

For travellers aged 18 and over, France will recognise you as ‘vaccinated’ for entry purposes if you completed your initial vaccine course within the last 9 months. If more than 9 months have elapsed since your initial course, and you have not since received a booster, you will be considered unvaccinated and must follow the rules detailed below.

From 31 March 2022, travellers from the UK aged 12 years and over who are not fully vaccinated need to provide:

A negative PCR test result... Читать дальше...

How much weaker can it get? If you take Field and French out they are worse than Leeds. There is no one in their team worth resting other than those two.

Fair play and I am sorry as I enjoy coming on here. I’ll take a break .
But I just don’t like hypocrisy and I’m trying to point that out, I’ve said the same on our board as we have two players in recent team who have served time, for attacks on women. I pointed this out when we signed them and said how wrong it was, yet not much resistance. Now people are turning on Zak saying some pretty unpleasant things about us resigning him….
He’s done far less!

Bradford Bulls • Featherstone (H)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

...and on the subject of injuries, I know RL is different because of the contact nature, you look at professional footballers who go through a run of injury after injury.

When they move clubs a decent conditioner looks at the history and tailors their fitness plan to strengthen areas and before you know it the run ceases.

Yes you get dislocations and concussions but torn muscles and the like sit with the conditioner, why are we so injury prone, why does recover take so long? Could... Читать дальше...

The Virtual Terrace • HELP - Travel to France

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I'm booked for Perpignan on Thursday but not 100% confident on the covid rules. If anyone has been or fully knows the new French rules it would be great.

2 questions really....

I'm double jabbed with Pfizer (2nd jab in November) not had the booster yet. Am I classed as fully vaxxed for France as its under 270 days since 2nd jab?

2nd question, many daughter is 12 and fully unvaccinated. I've got her booked into a clinic 24hrs before we travel for an Antigen test which the certificate is then emailed to me within 2 hours. Читать дальше...

Not sure he’s confused.
- Frustrated yes,
- Now gets it from a Championship perspective, yes
- Confused, I’m not sure where that comes one’s into it.

He’s also right, but it will not change until the powers that be decide to do what is best and right for Rugby League, not just Super League.

What, if anything, does Bongser know? You should have scored and converted from Bienek’s charge for the line. Suppose shouldn’t complain about stout defence from the home side though.

Dewsbury should be an interesting game. At the risk of sounding patronising, Bongser’s seen a lot of positives from both teams. Your off-loading was repeatedly good (almost always), Dewsbury’s kicking game was a real threat.

Yesterday’s defeat doesn’t worry me. Even if we were playing well a win would be a tall order.

My only concern is the amount of totally unforced errors and silly penalties we give away. I think the current bunch of refs are poor but I don’t think we’ve copped any worse than other teams.

It’s dead simple. Restart the season on Thursday. Forget Warrington and start as the underdogs we were on game one.

Scavenge a win on Thursday and we are running again. Читать дальше...
