Interesting to note that William's played on the left edge last night. Now that maybe because Lomax was injured and Welsby favours the right edge. Or it could be that Wane knows him better than anybody and knows that William's plays better on the left.
Either way his kicking game was a lot more accurate.

Was going to make this point.

He played exclusively on the left for 5 years at Wigan.

Given the simple task of run, or play short to Farrell or out the back to Tomkins. Читать дальше...

Hughes silence is telling. He warned in his pre season begging letter that it may look like it wasn't working and to both the untrained and old hands of Broncos shenanigans, that's exactly what it currently looks like. From proudly banging the drum for the opening gate they've started witholding attendance figures, whilst blowing the corporate trumpet ignoring the fact they've discounted corporate across the board.
The sooner Hughes admits... Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls • Potential Head Coach Options

Any statisticians know what the record is for the time taken from sacking a coach to appointing a new head coach? Let’s hope Nige is better at picking coaches than owners.

I don't agree about Whitbread. He's had games like this before he was just over shadowed by others playing badly. He was a key player when we beat Warrington in games 1 and 2.
It just got trendy to bag him.
I remember posting his stats and doesn't make errors and does the hard work for others. Great signing in my opinion.

Solomona by his own admission needed to catch up but realistically, he could have been on crutches and still been the best player on the field. Читать дальше...

Nowhere in my post did I say it would match SOO, what I said was the template was there and done right the series could be useful. Useful would do just fine.

You're absolutely right, you didn't say it would match SoO. It was me, I did. I doubt that it would match SoO. I also said that I take your point about about a Yorkshire v Lancashire. Jesus, you even disagree with people who are trying to agree agree with you

In 2017 we were in the middle 8s after a dismal season. In 2018 we were in the Challenge Cup and Grand Finals. Do you think that if TS had stayed we would have had the same turnaround?

Obviously we can only speculate. We won the League Leaders' Shield and reached 2 finals in 2016 under TS, and then reached 2 finals again in 2018 with Price. If we'd gone on to be consistently successful under Price I'd be more inclined to believe that he was responsible for... Читать дальше...

Never got enough games or time here to say either way. Behind a dominant pack he might have been superb but we'll never know now. I wish him all the best for the future

I think that one of the main reasons for the "we must pick Longstaff idea" is more to give Currie/Holmes/Hughes a kick up the bum.

The first in a long line of away games. The first three All very winnable. First up Hull KR, then Cas away, (is trueman going to hull early with the announcement Reynolds is likely to be leaving hill immediately) after that salford at magic, two tougher fixtures away at saints and away again at Catalan before we finally play a home game at the end of July.
Our boys have all had a well earned rest and some have taken advantage to jet off for a few days - very well deserved!

Powell's reasons for his absence:

When asked, Powell says he expects Longstaff to be putting pressure on those ahead of him but that he is "a little bit below where he should be."

"I’ve sat down with Ellis and explained to him in great detail what I want him to do a couple of times," he said.

"There’s a few players under pressure in our team and I think Ellis should be there or thereabouts.

"At the moment, he’s a little bit below where he should be and I’m challenging him to step up. Читать дальше...

What a load of rubbish lmao. He’s been at fault for no more tries than any other player is.
Plus, he has bought into the St. Helens ethos of hard work, something he didn’t need to do at Leeds as they don’t have the same culture

Best signing of the season bar none and would walk into any other SL team

And yet 5 mtrs from the line and a fullback deemed as someone who cannot tackle stopped him and he dropped the ball, the rest is history. Читать дальше...
