Hull FC • DoR - New Coach - Investor & Adam - New signings

Let's get it right. The entire Rugby League world is dumbfounded by the bizarre decision to make a current player Director of Rugby.

It's now clear that the 'investor' is not Andrew Thirkill who has no intention of giving up his position as President of Leeds Rhinos. No it is his daughter Stephanie who is the investor. Clearly she is very much in love with Richie Myler and saw an opportunity to provide something after rugby for her partner.

But where is the 'investment' going? Читать дальше...

Leeds beating any team does not surprise me but generally it will result in a loss the following week. We are extremely inconsistent.

Wigan Warriors • Ticketmaster update

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I’d like to say I’m surprised but the supposed Ticketmaster visit hasn’t done the trick for me today. I still have no ticket for the game tomorrow after numerous attempts to sort it out via this flexi membership.

Shall try and find some energy to call tomorrow and have another crack but if I get the same women as yesterday, I may as well give up. It’s really poor all this. Fans of sports clubs aren’t just normal customers like in other businesses. I actually care about the club and want it... Читать дальше...

Leigh Leopards • Re: Squads - Hull Kr v Leopards - C-Cup QF

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

The increasing number of soft tissue injuries at the Leigh Sports Village has left Lam and the rest of the coaching staff scratching their heads, with questions continuing to be asked about training methods.

Lam also pointed to the lack of a strength and conditioning coach at the beginning of pre-season after the role was left vacant by an impromptu departure.

We’ve had those conversations over and over again (about soft tissue issues), it’s a difficult one, some are bad luck like Edwin’s. Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls • Re: York (A)

Yes, at Belle Vue we lost two players to injury who didn't return which duly messed up our gameplan, one being a winger (always hard to replace) and our stand off and second main playmaker. Any side losing those sorts of player during a match would be disrupted. It's not unreasonable to suggest we'd have made more of a game of it without that disruption. Added to that was the fact that we went into that game depleted anyway lacking our best back and forward due to illness and injury.

Hull FC • Shopping list for 2025

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I've just looked at Drinkwaters stats, granted he has only player 3 games, but in those games

0 trys, assists, tackle busts, clean breaks and offloads.

Oli Russell not much better

And that's in much better sides than us.

Think I'd rather stick with Smith, Charles and Trueman.

Wigan Warriors • Castleford at home

Probably start with Thompson, O'Neil and Dupree in the front row with Mago, Leeming and Cooper off the bench.
With Farrell and Nsemba second row and Ellis at loose. Who the fourth bench place will go to we don't know but Hill or Chan favourites.

I'm confident we are capable of getting a result, although it could be hard against Huddersfield, who we have historically struggled against in recent years, and are also in decent form.

Wakefield Trinity • Bradford semi-final tickets

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I recall that when we first went down in 2015 that we opened up the terrace behind the posts when we played SL opposition and when Leigh came as those clubs had a bigger away following. The rest of the time it wasn't needed. It only requires the movement of the cordon by the stewards so shouldn't be an issue when we play you. In the main stand the home fans tend to congregate in the middle and at the hospitality end whereas away fans are usually up the other end.

A home game for me, so just a quick ride on the tram!

Got ours for the stand on checking last night there are very few seats left. Gone for the stand given I am not sure we want to stand on a potentially muddy bank.

The Richie Myler as director of rugby appointment at Hull FC is totally bizarre. Myler only retired from York this week and has zero experience or qualifications. One of his former teammates told us this: "It's another poor decision by Hull FC. They should be a top four club making top four club decisions. There is a reason why successful business/ sports organisations ask for experience before employing people within these roles. Читать дальше...
