I don't know either. I remember in the FA cup game against West Brom a few years back, he looked like one of the best players on the pitch. He can spray it around nicely when he's in the mood.

I have noticed though, he looks a lot more heavy legged than he used to. Sometimes, when you know you're not as nippy anymore, that can send your confidence right down the pan. You stop trusting yourself and stop taking risks on the ball. That's one possible explanation.
