Jesus, I hope we don't consider Giggs
To be honest I don't think he has the experience the owners are looking for plus he has the morals of a polecat that's why he can't get a job anywhere
Given the owners apparent love for a "big name" you could be right
Get Giggs learnt under the best. Hungry young he will be out taking part in training, we have to move on and try a good young manager who will attract good players, all the names linked are just meh, I'm sure he would do a good job for us and keep the profile of the club up. Have got me tin hat on
£84 seems a bit much. Have we re-signed Karen Brady?

It was 10 years ago. I've googled it and can't find what the score was. There's some on here that played for us that day. QB i think he wss in goal, the guys that ran KeepRightOn.com organised it. Ian Westwood Warwickshire cricketer played for us. He was our best player. I (tried) to mark O'Connor couldn't get near him so went to pick on Graham Hyde, couldn't get near him either.
Would I like to be there? Yes.
Would I pay £84 to be there? No.

If the reports are true about him being given 6 games (and it's a big if) then I would say its his job to lose.
Last week I didn't want Lee Carsley as permanent manager but after listening to him talking to the press we could do a lot worse. Maybe change the job title to Head coach 'cos Lee sounds like he prefers coaching. Got to be better than the last LC (Lee Clark) anyway
So it was:
8 -0
26 -0
And
12 or 13 -0
Good job it was for charity and the score didn’t really matter.
And Robert Hopkins will be in the bar for the foreseeable future
I agree. Maybe distancing himself from the job is his way of taking away the pressure and expectation.
Its still early days and we don't know what were gonna get from Carsley. As somebody said on here earlier, I think we can draw more of a conclusion from Wednesday's fixture, rather than Saturday.
If he does well, then who knows.
So far the players have spoke well of him and he seems well respected. His work is thorough and going forward he will be a good asset to the club... Читать дальше...

In all honesty it was 12 or 13 nil. No way was it higher than that. We should have had 2 penalties. One right at the end we scored but ref reckoned he'd blown the full time whistle. Then before that we had a corner it was coming sweet onto my head at the far post then just as I was about to head it in I got barged off the ball good and proper . As I picked myself off the floor I looked up and a smiling Ian Clarkson looked down at me. He knew what he'd done. Another one who ruined my big day. Went down in my estimations after that I tell ya.

I think that your memory is ( understandably ) a bit amiss .... I think you lost ... ahem ... 26-0 . Had I played , the rescheduled date clashed with my holiday , the score may have been different :D

Lee Carsley really doesn't want the job.
No way will all those turn up. You'll do well with half turning up. I played against them 10 years ago and about 12 turned up. Ron Green played. David Busst yes the one who bust his leg. Broadhurst, O'Connor, Clarkson, Holtam, can't remember the rest apart from getting thrashed 8 nil. Tom Ross made us change our kit because it clashed with the all stars. It was our big day we'd all paid £15 each for the kit and he made us change it didn't want to know. He went down in my estimations after that day.
Sturman said Woodward, who has a personality disorder, eating disorder, and drug and alcohol dependency.
Not only would I not want to ... well you know what with her, I hope that if I ever need heart surgery she isn't the one with a scalpel in her hands.
