To be fair, for a long time now weve struggled to move play forward and really look dangerous in our intent. I find it quite interesting that Donaldson got 2 goals on his debut...a guy that couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo for us for a while now (No offence to him).

Is that coincidence or evidence that we just do not get the ball into positions that the striker can dispatch regularly enough? We don't take enough risks for me.

I know Clayton's had his fair share of bad misses but I think my point still stands on that, hopefully over the next week or so we will see us a bit more confident up the top.

I know we are still gelling and calling the players out this early is nothing short of ridiculous, as I think individually we saw saw some good quality yesterday just, again, we couldn't break Norwich down.

I was really pleased to see that the new lads individually looked good. Jota looks like the type of player we thought he was, tricky and mobile.

Boga should have had a pen in my opinion.

Generally I think we passed it round as good as I've seen in a long time but didn't have the final drive in their box enough.
Whether it's because Norwich basically crowded their back line out or were not used to each other, who knows.

I think yesterdays game had a feel of a 'training match to it'. Whether that's the lack of commentary I don't know but I think there really was a lot of promise. Disappointed but optimistic.
