Roger and Dann worked because they were a ball player and the other was a nutter throw his head behind everything type.

Ferdinand and Terry worked for England because Ferdinand played the ball and Terry would throw his body behind everything.

Morrison and Shotton seemed like the Championship equivalent, just full of mistakes because they werent on the same level.

Morrison, Dean and Roberts all seem like limited footballers who throw there body behind everything and hoof it up. Theres no football skill there, so when the ball is played around it really slows the pace down and they can't really handle a player running at them.
