The owner has come out and has promised an attacking offensive team on Sunday. Read into that what you will but sounds like he has no faith in the manager.
The flip side to this is that when we do go down, he will see Parkinson as the best person to try and bring us back up again, but somehow nobody sees that. Nobody wants his negative hoofball and lack of tactics brand of football. His time is up.
As for the supposed attacking team, we will believe it when we see it but the players heads are already down and no amount of motivation will pick them up. That’s just my opinion.
As you say Tam, we have to go for the win, nothing else will do, but I can’t see any sort of creativity happening come Sunday. It’s out of our hands and I won’t be surprised if Burton get something at Preston and Barnsley get something at Derby. I don’t think they will though.
It’s bloody annoying though, at one point after the vile game we were 6 points clear and we thought we could really do it and survive. To lose that kind of lead and to have no performance to back it up in recent games makes it the more galling.
Don’t forget our goal difference, worst of the lot.
