Frank Lampard their new manager on a 3-year deal.
Presume Uncle Harry will turn up as special adviser and the captain-leader-legend will be on the books soon too.
Have a feeling it will end badly!!

Went to buy 3 seats in any block from 3-15 yesterday and apparently this was not possible. I am surprised that in blocks holding roughly 500 seats each that there is not this availability at this stage. In the end we opted for the Gil Merrick which is going to be interesting. I hope we can achieve at least 18,000 season ticket sales this summer. Keep Right On.
Have posted this elsewhere so apologies for repeating but it really saddens me that this club of ours, that carries the name of the second city, because of years of management incompetence at Board level now has survival in the second tier as its ambition !
Could you imagine other countries second city teams such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Milan ,etc, chugging along like that.?
FFS Even second city clubs on this island of ours such as Scotlands Celtic and Rangers and Wales,s Swansea seem to aim higher than us. Читать дальше...

All BBC matches for the World Cup will be shown via Iplayer and in UHD/HLG but will be limited to 10'000's on a first come first serve basis, at start of broadcast. They recommend at least a 40(Mbit/s) connection.
Also showing it in VR evidently...

Following on from the ‘Retirement quandary’ thread, I noticed the overweight and heavy drinking thing being mentioned a few times.
In regards to drinking, what would be the average amount you put away each week? (Honestly). I have no issue in admitting I have been a heavy drinker since my early 20’s and now mid-late 30’s it does feel like it’s taking its toll.
I am slightly overweight (according to BMI crap) but it’s probably the damage that the years of drinking has done that you can’t see that is the issue. Читать дальше...

Four Four Two magazine have produced a top ten of the most depressing teams to support and we're not on it...rejoice.
The lucky winners are, in order, most depressing first,
Brechin City
Sunderland
Leyton Orient
North Ferriby United (wtf?)
Leeds United
Glasgow Rangers
Ipswich Town
Arsenal
Coventry City
Everton

What's your predictions then? Will the event pass with little to no violence? Or are the front pages going to be dominated by fat bald supine men bleeding in the streets?
Probably their gay population do too, as they're sh@t upon in that country.
