BB King .. I love 50's and 60's BB but have never been too keen on the later Jazz and cabaret periods . However , I happened upon his final album " One kind favor " on good ol' You Tube , copied it to a disc and played it in the car all week .... it's almost as good as anything he ever did

Legendary boxing trainer aged 77. Mad bastard at times and fantastic human being. Done so much for the local community around the Wincobank Gym. Legend is a word banded about a lot, but this bloke was a pioneer in many ways. He trained so many champs with all adoptingb his unique style.
Boxing and certainly Sheffield will be a poorer place without him.

Based on the weather forecast for glorious weather Mrs davenports and me decided to have a get together for family and friends in the garden, drinks food etc.,
Having seen this mornings complete 180% turnaround of a forecast am sure that will go well !

So in January we brought a caravan and I booked all my holidays for the year upfront and paid for them.
Start of April and the wife falls in love with a puppy and decided she wanted one after we lost ours at Christmas.
We are now due to go away to bath on Sunday for 6 days, but the puppy can’t come with us because she has only just had her 2nd vaccination and can’t leave the house for another 2 weeks!!!

I'll be changing my car some time in the next 8 - 10 months and fancy something a little different but within certain parameters. It has to be an automatic, large and practical with a high driving position, good loadspace, no boot lip and be economical to run. Don't give a monkeys about 0-60 or badge.
