I always meal prep my food for work which includes 3 small meals between breakfast and dinner, but to prep it all is time consuming, I have to worry about sell by dates of the meat because I cook them all in bulk, so they're sat in the fridge for a few days and there's a lot of tedious washing up at the end of it. Neither seems to be massively better than the other. I like the idea of a main Echo & a few dots around the house, however (apparently) the Home is superior for voice searches on the grounds it's backed by Google.
what does it do that can't be done by hitting a button in either room?
my my mum is partially sighted and you'd think it would be a great thing for her but as she's pretty elderly has no idea how to work it
what does it offer the more lucid members of society?
So does the dot basically mean it does the same as the echo with a lower quality speaker?

I have an echo and three dots.
The echo sound is excellent although I have a dot connected to a Bluetooth speaker and that is pretty good too.
A dot will work without an echo, they connect to your wifi independently. (tu)
May 1987, last game of the season. We lost 2 nil to Shrewsbury. I was 5, few months shy of my 6th birthday. Can't really remember the game. Then can't recall going again til Feb 91 against Chester (we won) and it's been ongoing since.

I've got an Echo. I love it and I only really play music on it currently. We move house in 3 weeks, and when we get to the new place I'll look into the operating heating, lights, etc...
