Always been disputes about the actual attendance , the long standing record for St Andrews
Sometimes listed as just over 66,000 but other sources indicate 67,341
FA Cup 5th Round tie v Everton which ended 2-2....11th February 1939
We also pulled in 55,000 for the League derby with Villa that season....however we were relegated that season and World War Two broke out a few months later

Here's a list of Celtic players who would improve our team:
Lustig
Boyata
Tierney
Brown
Armstrong
Roberts
Dembele
Rogic
Sinclair
and plenty of those would be out of our reach financially. The SPL is shocking, but Celtic have some decent players.
No there isn't anyone at that level but solid premier league players like McCarthy didn't even play for old firm clubs and were picked out. Then you have Wanyama and Van Dijk in recent years who are integral members of their current premier league sides. Rogic and Dembele will be playing in the EPL in the very near future. Very narrow minded to discount a whole league especially when one team is arguably the biggest club in Britain (certainly top 5) and is competing in European football year in year out.

Dembele and Sinclair may get the odd run out as squad players down here but that league is so so poor that most decent champ players would be stars up there.

20th-23rd July is BushFest, the smallest comedy festival in the world - free comedy festival at the Hollybush. Might still be spots available. Worth going anyway as there's everything from proper circuit acts like Ian Cognito, Milo McCabe and Masai Graham to utterly rubbish amateurs and everything in between. If nothing else it's a good way to gauge where you think you're at material-wise and might give you some confidence, a kind of "well, surely I'm better than that ffs!" boost :D
