put yourself in his shoes, got a kid on the way, you're settled in the area, getting 60k a week, legs have pretty much gone...do you wanna have to work for half the money and really put a shift in, or sit and be used sparingly while seeing out the last 2 yrs of a big contract before you retire...as Craigy would say, it's a no brainer.
