We've got two good full backs.
The right back Lucy Bronze made the goal and is the best player on the pitch. Again
To be fair, they used to say the same thing about Arsenal when Sol Campbell was playing for them so I wouldn't take too much notice of that.

I was walking down Corporation St yesterday around 2pm and a young 'un (about 20 ish) was walking up the other way chanting "Zulu's gonna getchya". He has a rucksack on his back and sticking out of the rucksack was the head of a tennis racket. Now I know this story isn't as interesting as say, the body of a missing male (RIP) being found in Builth Wells but at the same time I found it quite amusing. It got me pondering 2 things:

Oh don;t be dumb for the sake of it. Fact, you are promoted because when you're crap you still draw or win games , just like we did under TSM, We were played off the park half a dozen times that promotion season and drew or won almost all of those games. It's in the player's heads and the manager is a key part to that. We ground our way out of this division last time and it was the defense and our player's nous along with TSM's that saw us go up rather than,m any inherent footballing ability. So... Читать дальше...

The key to those games was the people who moan the most and their expectations. The whole "Oh, well if we can;t beat Burton and Barnsley schtick". Rowett's big failing was not being able to break that hoodoo. He could make us hard to beat, he couldn't make us dominate games against teams with players who are probably not as good as our own. Newcastle were just better than us even on an off day, Burton and Barnsley were not.
The wingers concerns me. Davis is not a winger in a forward thinking team at all. Maghoma is alright.
If he wants to play 442 he needs width.
If we go diamond or 352 we're OK.
I expect a busy next few weeks, especially deadline day.
