The Bat
Looked terrible last night, didn't even see him take a drink. Was on crutches and wearing glasses.
When Bat thinks of explosive young men

This is exactly the point I'm making Pete. It may only be bad luck, but there is enough of a trend to start to look into it.
Vassell and Jota aren't injury prone, didn't do pre-season with us, and got injured quite quickly, the same injury too.
Che has also injured both hamstrings. There's a trend with explosive players here too

You think it's bad luck then Rab? I know I face opposition in this but I'll stick by it. If I'm proven wrong I'm proven wrong

They don't tend to all get exactly the same injury though.... It's enough of a pattern that the club should have a look into it even if they do decide ultimately that it's just bad luck.

Tired Rab ?
It's just bad luck.
Sports people get injuries all the time you know.
Yawn
I remember it well

For me, bad luck with injuries would be impact injuries or bone fractures, dislocations, things like that. Jenkinson's was unlucky.
So many muscular injuries suggests an underlying issue with something that they're doing at Wast Hills; I have no idea what it is. I'll stick by that theory though.
I know Bat and a few others disagree, but I'm going to put it out there for all to see; something is wrong at Wast Hills and it's causing the ludicrous amount of muscle pulls and tears we're getting. It happened at Arsenal, so it could certainly happen here.
It might be training techniques, it might be the training pitches themselves, or maybe the new fitness team are getting it totally wrong with recovery etc.
Does anyone know if people at the club are looking into this trend, or are they convinced it's just bad luck? Читать дальше...

Just remember us oldies haven't much time left!
We were promoted as Champions in 1921 after picking up the equivalent of just 5 points from the first 7 games. That was a 42 game season and so the 7 games were. equivalent to 8 games now. That included 10 straight wins between the middle of October and Decembe and 14 wins in 16 games to the start of February.
Perhaps a model for 2017-18?
In his only match so far, he dished out two red cards and eight yellows, as Bradford won 3-1 away at Peterborough on 9 September. 8-)

So let's get the ages of all the negative posters from the last 5 days to see how that stacks up?

But we were proper men in them days...most of us had left home by the time we had reached 12 years of age. ...not like you modern youth. ...still suckling on your mom's tit at 30 plus....
