Morrison is poor. He can't play in a more expansive team like this where his deficiencies and pace limitations are so routinely exposed. He had his time here when we were backs-to-the-walls defending and he had security and protection around him, but he can't start for us now if we're going on the front foot.

Roberts is quicker out of the blocks, faster over a sustained period and in terms of physical presence and other attributes, pretty similar to Morrison. Let's get him in now and... Читать дальше...

Didn't Francis give us a wave at Palace?

Morrison has given the ball away quite a lot this season. There was one time last night when he ran beyond the half-way line with no idea what to do and got easily dispossessed and Leeds should've scored. The second goal last night was also his fault. I like Morro, I thought he was quality under Rowett.. But Roberts looked quality pre-season and up until the Burton mistake. Roberts' old dear tweeted after the Burton game that he is much more comfortable on the right side of a two. Hopefully we give him another chance soon.

I guarantee that by the end of the season he'll be a fan favourite. People have such feeble memories and childlike reserves of patience: N'Daw was exactly the same (arguably worse in fact).

I said the same after the Norwich game on Saturday. You have those three in behind Gallagher playing some really nice stuff and then he needs an extra touch, or his first-time pass goes awry.

We know what he's about, so it's not a blame game or anything like that. Hopefully Harry can get him being slightly more comfortable on it.

Mental

Clark did it during a game we were losing at home to Huddersfield. They sang "Clarkie give us a wave" as a pisstake and he waved at them.

Almost as annoying as leaving Zigic and King on the bench and playing Leroy fecking Lita up front

According to a few on Twitter, they were singing "You're Leeds and you know you are" and he was nodding and waving.

Who really cares? Probably not the best timing after just losing to them, after the fans have spent about £500 for a match ticket.. But you can guarantee Butland, Foster, Hart etc would show some love to the Tilton when they come to St.Andrews. He's a Leeds fan so is obviously gonna enjoy it

I thought he did well. Hassled without fouling, won everything in the air, showed a few tidy exchanges with the other midfielders. I think the injury against Bolton really showed against Burton. If he stays fit, I think he will be a good addition. Still feels quite awkward on the ball, I'm surprised he didn't put Walsh in there as one of the three

Despite having more or less the whole of the second half sky manage to condense every leeds attack into their dogshit highlights and literally showed not one single blues attack.

Hasn't been great this season, but he grew into the game during the second half last night. In his defence, I think he could do with a settled role within a settled midfield. This season already he's been played on the wings, just off Che and also as a midfield 3. Hopefully as the team starts to gel, he will start to improve

I think the fact I noticed it so much whether I'm right or wrong about my OP, is because he did see so much of ball which is a positive.

I think Harry needs to pick 2 and let them play 10 games together (maybe he's doing it)

Chopping and changing the defenders won't benefit us IMO

Technically he is one of our weaker players since the new signings have come in, but his legs are vital in this team now. He covers a lot of ground and is our best midfielder at the press

I thought he played pretty well myself.

Granted I only watched the stream last night but, is it just me that though Davis is miles off the wavelength of the likes of Ndoye, Lowe, Colin and Boga. I mean mentally. He slowed all play down, constantly turned back to keeper whilst players around made runs forward.

I found myself sighing every time he got the ball. The positive for me being it shows the difference in class of the player that have been broughtin.

He pulled it, went down and came straight off as we were making substitutions. There was no delay at all. He tried very briefly to run it off but knew it was gone.

Its not something you want to see but i'll forgive Stockdale as its home town club and he'll play for them in a couple of years.

Apart from his one crossfield ball that went out for a throw, I thought he was okay. Still not sure what he does yet, but I'm sure he will develop
