I'm confused. You want Big Sam, but you also want somebody who has a long-term vision for the club. Which one is it?
Big Sam isn't about to take up a job and change his whole outlook on football to buy into a new five-year vision at Blues.

If he hadn't been assistant for 3 matches we wouldn't even consider Cotterill would we?
I'm not sure why being assistant for 3 games with our old team makes him so popular for the permanent managers job.
Why were they trying to sell him on?
He's an incredible talent.
Doesn't make sense.
It might have been Roy Keane
Checking a Mail article from back then however, interesting to see Zola listed even back then
That search has stepped up in the last couple of days following the return from the Far East of Peter Pannu as he sifts through candidates to succeed Chris Hughton.
The list is still headed by bookmakers’ favourite Lee Clark, ex-Blues player Alan Curbishley and Gianfranco Zola, who was in the frame before Hughton was appointed last year. There... Читать дальше...

I'll bow to your superior knowledge on this one, as you've probably followed him much closer than I have.
I only saw what he did in the Championship and haven't seen as much at Fleetwood this year.
I'd certainly take him at Blues though.
I'd love somebody to come in and look at the infrastructure of the club, set out a clear path for youth development, actually build a vision spanning over 3-5 years whatever it may be and be given time to build a legacy.
Judging by the expectations set so far... Читать дальше...

Carsley is the new Rowett. Young, exciting, keeping things simple.
Morrison played left sided with Shotton

but looks to be extending his contract with a premier league team (tu) shame they didnt sell him on as we'd have got a windfall

....putting on one of America!'s best emerging indie bands on Nov 2nd. Big Thief from Brooklyn.
Seen them twice in London where the hipsters are getting very excited about them. Folk rock (duh) is the wider (wide of the mark) description but don't let a loathing for Mumford and Sons put you off. Much more in common with Radiohead artistically, but with better tunes and a great songwriter in Adrianne Lenker.
Future (fragile) heavyweights. Already playing much bigger venues down south. Читать дальше...
Saw them a couple of times last year and will be seeing 'em again in Bristol on 1st November.
Their newish record is a belter
It may have been Mickey Adams. I know Billy Davies was also reported to be in the frame at some stage. I was so distressed that in the end The Samaritans put the phone down on me.
