Re: Steve Cottrill in the Mirror
If it's in the Mirror, it will almost certainly be proved to be correct.

Yeah, completely agree. The situations then and now are so different. Would be an absurd idea to appoint him.
Ah I must have then

Can we all stop thinking that a guy who came in and did a bit of coaching for three games is the answer? I'm struggling to see where this idea has come from that he's a top-class gaffer that we're so desperately missing. He struggled in this division with Bristol City when he got them up - their chairman is notoriously patient but got rid of him around Christmas time because the rot had set in.
He came into a set-up last year where the coaches had obviously not been... Читать дальше...

Whenever a manager gets the boot, the betting companies have a field day. Allardyce

Allardyce announced his departure from Crystal Palace on 23 May 2017, saying he had no intention of seeking another job, in what was interpreted as a retirement announcement. However, on 19 July 2017, Allardyce said he would be open to an international management position, but not another club job
Karanka.
Would be happy with Carsley though
I said you can stick your rollercoaster - who cares who the next manager will be? If they're any good they'll get nabbed. If they're rubbish they'll get sacked. If they're average they'll probably get sacked too. The players need to pull their fingers out now, a manager can only do so much anyway.
Its true is a red tape nightmare just running one team let along setting up a club but then I can understand why you would try and do it. A lot depends upon the ethos of the club that your'e looking at. Most clubs would be happy to support you to set up a new team you just have to be strong in terms of how you want to run it. But even then if you don't go full out competitive you'll get grief from parents and the kids when they get stuffed every week.
Its also worth looking at which league you want to go in. Читать дальше...

Carsley. He's there now. Let's just get on with it.
Anyone got one? Any good?
Can't be arsed with the new iphone. Its a toss up between S8+ & Note 8.
You're getting phones and suicide bombers confused
Nice edit.
But not necessarily, I’ve been to Derby numerous times and Hull is very far away. I’d certainly have a different outlook on both if I hadn’t been.
I believe we are yes.

i dont understand how you can look objectively at mclarens record and not conclude he is a competant manager
he's not been a success everywhere but very few have
Noel Blake??
Failing them let get Sir Barry Fry back, at least it will be a laugh
He's so keen to return he turned down the chance to return at the start of the season as Harry's Assistant.

Carsley.
I don't think Allardyce is realistic, otherwise I would have said him
