Does contain lots of references to stats (including expected-goals (xG)) but this is a really good article using Raheem Sterling as an example about the difference between being a good technical finisher and actually scoring goals.
Who could we actually get decent or any money for(apart from the obvious)? I think a lot may have to go on frees and we take the hit.

Sterling scores lots because they have quality midfielders who create the opportunities. If all of their midfielders ran about lots but couldn't pass, Sterling wouldn't have scored a goal yet.
