You go to a hospital appointment and the consultant utters those dreaded words.
"Do you mind if a medical student sits in on this appointment?"
You can't say no without being a graceless oik, so you sit down to see a spotty yoof who looks like he should be doing a paper round rather than being a potential doctor.

Marks the 50th anniversary, to the day, of my first Blues game. This lifelong pendulum of torture and joy (more torture, really, I suppose) kicked off at St Andrews on 24/2/1968 against Aston Villa. We won 2-1, with a goal scored in the very first minute.

I was just seven, but can remember it now - we were upstairs at the Railway End and when the goal went in, the whole place erupted. I was bloody terrified! My stepfather, who was from Small Heath, did have the good grace to say that I could support whichever side I wanted... Читать дальше...

Which cut do you prefer when cutting a dash??

Jean for me. I find lots of chinos have an annoying habit of letting stuff out of the pockets when you sit down.

Anybody used it lately?

What's the dress code, tried looking on web site, but cant see anything. I dare say jeans won't be allowed.

Is it still the now out dated sauvignon blanc still being served?

Only roughly seven months later (September of 68) although it was obviously the following season (68/69)....we beat Vile 4-0 in front of more than 40,000 at St Andrews ....about 5,000 down on the 'derby' you mentioned

Greenhoff, Vowden , Vincent and Summerill scored for BCFC

Scoreline flattered us, it was a pretty even first half....However, to this day that remains our biggest margin of victory over our biggest and fiercest rivals

Please Mr Cotterill, Instead of playing RB's at LB give young Seddon a try.
Instead of playing N'Doye in the Number 10 role play Boga or an attacking option.
Instead of systems that the players aren't comfortable with, stick with the tried and tested.
Instead of the defensive tripe at home, go on the front foot especially against teams like Barnsley.
