Old Blues Shirts (41 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Hi All,

I am a keen collector of old Blues shirts and wanted to see firstly if anyone has any pre-1990 original replica or match-worn shirts (not modern remakes) which they'd be interested in selling. Also, to find out if there are any other fellow collectors out there who may be interested in selling or swapping shirts.

I recently featured in the Mail, but have since add 10 shirts from people responding to the article:

Dropping quicker than Karen Brady’s drawers..... ouch. I’ll admit I’m down a few quid being a latecomer to the party. Anyone else Hit in the pocket? Is this the inevitable bubble bursting or should I be buying more coins whilst it’s this low?

WW2 Commonwealth countries (3 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

In another thread we talked about the involvement of Commonwealth countries in WW2.

Being an old (very old) soldier, having served in two armies, I always watch the Remembrance Service at the cenotaph every year and am saddened that Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) was thrown out of the Commonwealth and, therefore, is not represented in that parade.

But....circumstances change and now that Mugabe has gone, isn't it time for Zimbabwe to be brought back?

After all; how did Mozambique become a member of the Commonwealth?

Excellent news regarding Grounds. I am going to go with:-

GK Stockdale
RB Colin
LB Grounds
CB Morrison
CB Dean
CM Kieftenbeld
CM Davis
RM Jota
LM Maghoma
ST Adams
ST Jutkiewicz'

Ndoye has been away on international duty in Senegal so Davis gets the nod.

I doubt Grounds will start so I'd keep the same XI.
