Went to the pub on the other side of the M61 after the game for a quick one. It's up to the roundabout and turn right. I bumped into a small group of 'older' Blues fans, lovely people. They'd made a bit of a day of it and gone to Blackburn first to see Fred Pickering, which was great (for younger fans, Blues centre forward in the late '60s). He's 77 now, IIRC, and in reasonable health - they had a photo taken with him, and while he doesn't look like the player I remember, he looks better than I do. Читать дальше...

Did anyone notice the new style speed cameras mounted above the hard shoulder around Stafford last night? There was no varable speed limit but what speed are they set to go off? I was at 79 mph on cruise control when I spotted one and got down to 73 mph. Anyone on here had a fine off one?

I think we have the most difficult run-in of all the relegation contenders after Saturday.

I'm enjoying the good form as much as anyone, but playing Wolves, Fulham and teams competing for the playoffs is not making me feel confident.

As it stands, failing to win against Burton would be a disaster, since after that the only game in which I'd put us as favourites is QPR.

Could honestly see Barnsley catching us still.

Three games, three wins, three clean sheets. Its safe to say happy times are here again at St Andrews and while worries of relegation are nowhere near completely gone there is once again a feeling that Blues will be safe.
