Last 6 Games (45 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Has us 8th in the form table. Burton are 23rd, with Barnsley and Bolton coming in at 19th and 20th respectively.

Blues: W3 D1 L2 = 10pts GD +3
Barnsley: W1 D2 L3 = 5pts GD -4
Bolton: W1 D2 L3 = 5pts GD -4
Burton: W0 D3 L3 = 3pts GD -6

*Reading: W2 D1 L3 = 7pts GD -5

We are by far and away in the best form of the relegation candidates. It was disappointing not to get three points yesterday but four wins on the spin (and a win against Burton) was always going to be difficult. Читать дальше...

Small Heath Alliance

Anybody watch this? It's been going for ages now and should be getting stale, but this series is great. It's impressive how they get their finger on the pulse of current events, months before they happen. We've had Cambridge Analytics type shenanigans, poisoning of spys, Russian denials, all sorts of events which could be straight off the news.

To be fair the one big miscalculation was predicting a Hilary Clinton win so they have had to change the personality of the previously decent lady president into a sinister lunatic.

First series was excellent. Worth watching that on its own. The second wasn't too bad either, but I lost interest shortly after that. Maybe its picked up again?

I saw "Stand up and Rock" last night featuring Mr Carrott and Bev Bevan's band. I must say Jasper was brilliant, still as funny as ever with his typical Brummie self-depracating humour and looking really good following his recent health worries.

And Bev Bevan, supported by some really talented singers was as good on the drums as he ever was. If you love music from the 60s and 70s, you'll love this show.

Fantastic evening from a couple of guys with over 140 years between them.

Can you name the four players that whilst at the club, made more appearances for their national team than they did for the Blues?

Ticket prices (18 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I've been interested to read how angry people are about having to fork out £32 for tickets to the Bristol game. As someone who spends most Saturday afternoons watching amateur rugby (entrance fee £3-£5!) I'd lost track of how much professional clubs charge now. That was until I travelled up to Keynsham for a match only to find that it had been postponed; rather than waste the afternoon I decided to go and watch Bath play Newcastle in the Anglo-Welsh (aka Mickey Mouse) Cup. Bath's ground has mainly uncovered stands... Читать дальше...

Re: Last 6 Games

Small Heath Alliance

I think we still need 6 points to be safe, possibly 5. Good thing is that Barnsley still have to play Bolton at home so they both can't pick up 3 points.

Bristol City, QPR and Sheff Utd all winnable games from my perspective. Also Bolton's form is poor right now. Still have Millwall and Wolves to play as well.
