Need some advice for workplace hours if you don't mind.
Partner has worked at her place for over 10 years. Lately she went back from Maternity on agreed hours by both work and her.
Only few months later they decide those hours aren't suitable for them and ask her to change / shift her hours (start earlier finish later or vice versa) but she can't do that due to nursery run etc.
So she told them she can't do it, so they have taken hours off her claiming she has to be 'flexible', causing her to lose money. Читать дальше...
If anyone has two tickets for Sunday please let me know?
Heart problem?
Found out last night that the gig on Saturday in town is off. Hadn’t heard from anybody or seen anywhere that whole tour has been put back to next Feb, so if anybody was planning on going, don’t. We only found out because we were looking to book a hotel, so we could have been even more £££££s down.
And the rescheduled date is at the Genting not the NIA, and on a Tuesday :X
A quick poll that just needs an A, B or C answer.
How do you see things working out on Sunday?
A. We get the required points ourselves and stay up.
B. We lose but stay up.
C. Down we go
I will start it off with A
Got a new job start soon, I am working through an agency who have offered me 3 options. They will hire me under one of these 3...
Limited company, or Umbrella company, or PAYE (ive discounted this as it pays £7 less per hour although i have set hours and holiday pay.
What is the benefit of each...
Googling it, it seems that an umbrella I work for them and they do all my admin and taxes and files etc and i pay something like £100 per month.

HMRC are getting tough on the first two options (employees pretending to be freelancers using limited companies):

If you can afford it and don't want any come backs go for option 3, especially if you have set hours and holiday pay.

"This isn't Green Street, you're not Danny Dyer, you don't have a tattoo of Shadwell on your arse and owning a Stone Island jacket doesn't redefine criminal damage as "a bit of banter"Now, the end is near and once again we face the final curtain. It just wouldn't be Blues if it didn't go down [...]
