Does it ever slightly irritate anybody else during a World Cup, how those who hate football, those that complain about footballer’s wages for the other 11 months of the year, are suddenly experts on the game and become ‘massive fans’ during every England game?

I’m starting to believe.
Not because we beat Tunisia and Panama or because Germany are out.
Because I think we can show up and match any team I’ve seen in this tournament.
Why can’t we go and win it?.

What a dream of a central midfielder always been a fan of the way he plays and how easy he makes the game look while also being strong and physical.
Was we once linked with him before he went fulham if i remember correctly?
I think he played more of a 10 when Eck wanted him. He's a very good player.
