Think he is vastly overrated by some and is no more then an average keeper.
And never looks like an athlete to me.

Its worse than i thought, he cant even simply control and dribble a ball without a single player around.
On the ball... terrible passer of the ball isn’ he. People complain about Grounds, but MK is a midfield player. Gives 100% and all that.

Not because we beat Tunisia and Panama or because Germany are out.
Because I think we can show up and match any team I’ve seen in this tournament.

No not increasing it to 48 teams with 3 team groups.
I'd like to see the following changes made though:
1) 2nd round to be an unseeded draw to take place after the last group game. This would stop all the nonesense around gaming the last group games like the discussions on whether its better for England to finish first or second. The knockout structure as it is can stay in place but round two is no longer pre-determined by the position in the groups.

I have been critical of some of his performances- I would say that he is average at best.
In the last 11 matches under Monk I actually saw from highlights i have seen and a couple of the matches i went to that Stockdale had a dip in form and he is prone to dropping a few clangers, notably against Sheffield United at Home and Wolves away due to his poor positioning on their first goal.
That being said he did also drop clangers under SC- but he kept the score respectable in a few matches where we was tragic. Читать дальше...
