Trying to argue with Bilic that the goalie should have saved the Russia goal ... typical of the PlayStation generation that think every player should be in the perfect position or connect with the ball perfectly ... Now when someone constantly makes the wrong choices/ loses control of the ball / fails to hit the target ... that’s when criticism is justified

Gotta say he is doing a great job, seems to have a great connection with the players and fans alike - the first since probably Terry Venables, and people may say we have an easy route to the semis (hopefully the final) but you can only beat whats in front of you, and lets be fair its not like we have never made a mess against the so called easier teams.
We also seem to be more tactically aware than we have been for a long time

So. We’re there. Croatia have better players but do we want to face the home nation?
