Would you take take Ross McCormack or Tshibola from villa on loan if it was with out embargo limit ?
I reckon McCormack would want to shove up Bruce and villa considering his relationship with them and no better place than at your rivals, of course he has a great record at the level (villa not withstanding)
Tshibola is in a similar position but could monk and co realise his potential ?

Personally I don't care who pays them now as long as they give 100% and are good enough.

Was our major undoing in the winter.

We was on decent form, I think 4 wins, 3 draws and only 1 loss from late December - and then Cotterill decides to send out the 2nd string against Huddersfield in the replay, we lose, we lost any momentum we had and we never recovered. We wouldn't win again until Monk came in.

So are we going to learn from this? We need a win. Even if it's the Cup, winning breeds confidence within the team and fans. I fear the longer we go without a win the more it'll become a mental issue. Читать дальше...

Me too, although maybe a lot of our London-based fans are taking the short trip up the road to this one.

I'd love a cup run, but... there are squad players who need a run out and a short turn-around for Friday. Que sera sera. Camp, Scarr, Lakin, will start,won't they? Gardner jr, Harding, Roberts etc all need some pitch time. Reading will do the same. I'm gradually warming up after the Huddersfield cup game.

Presumably Monk was unaware that would be our only cash signing and we’d be embargoed by the league. It did seem to come as a surprise considering our bid for Grabban and him saying we were looking to improve areas.

Do you think that the left back would have been a priority or would he have stuck with Colin there and strengthened in another department (midfielder or striker or even a keeper) using hindsight.
Plus would he have bombed Stocky, Kuszczak and Grounds?
