I want to treat the wife to a show in the run up to Christmas and the Nutcracker at the Hippodrome fits the bill. The problem is, I've left it a bit late and there aren't many decent seats left-even at around £60 a pop.

I found out today that Vue cinema at Star City are showing a one-off live performance on screen at around one-third of the price (£19 IIRC). WE'd get a much better view of the performance, but obviously it isn't the same experience. Perhaps if I threw in a decent meal before the show; maybe that would do the trick? Читать дальше...

Anyway i'm going for a 2-0 win (Jota and Juke) and a crowd of 24500.

I was on the Tilton too. The aggro was all about an hour before kick off,the Mancs came round from the Railway giving it the biggun .I dont think they were expecting Blues to turn up in such numbers and it was funny to watch them retreat all the way back to the railway still calling Blues on !
Anyway that was the start of an amazing run for the last 10 games of the season in which we won 8, drew 1 , lost 1

We're moving house mid December and wondered if anyone knew any good removal companies in the Birmingham south area, we're after a firm that will do a full pack also.

We used Whites Removals to go Stirchley to Bournville a couple of years ago. Did a full pack for not much more money (£200 from memory??) and they were absolutely brilliant. Everything really carefully wrapped. Took down wardrobes and beds etc. and put it all up for us properly at the other end. Put a little dent in a crap old Ikea bed and gave us compensation to buy a new one without even asking.

Based in Aston but don’t let that put you off - a couple of the lads were Blues.
