You can tell a lot of what Lee wrote from the dialogue. It's quite hyperbolic and the plotting is basic, but its the dna that everyone else could develop and was a far cry from what had come before.
A lot of current writers - Millar, Busiek, Bendis, even Kevin Smith - give Lee a lot of credit, up alongside people like Kirby, and I don't think they would do that unless they felt he deserved it.

Craig Gardner is done.
