Until referees make it clear that verbal abuse and foul and abusive language will be dealt with with the correct punishment available to them, then things won't improve down the levels imo.
Watch Match of the Day on Saturday and see what players aim at refs, then read the laws.
I must also add that some people are just lawless scum
Normally there is a reason for a player discovering a rich vein of form. A new role can often trigger it. Or a new training regime.
